The Sondigo Inferno provides PC users with the most complete set of audio technologies ever assembled in a single PCI sound card. Powered by the C-Media Oxygen HD PCI Audio Processor, the Sondigo Inferno is the best way to enjoy music, movies, and games on your PC.

Inferno is designed to give you the best PC audio experience, whether you connect it directly to speakers with the analog outputs, or send the digital output to your A/V receiver. On the analog side, Inferno features four AKM AK4396 stereo DACs (digital-to-analog converters), which boast an impressive 117dB SNR (signal to noise ratio) rating. The optical digital output supports Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive 5.1 formats, as well as up to 24-bit, 192kHz linear PCM audio.

For professional audio applications, Inferno includes line, mic, and S/PDIF inputs. The analog inputs are fed to a Wolfson WM8785 Stereo ADC (analog-to-digital converter), with a 111dB SNR rating. An ASIO driver with latency as low as 2ms is also provided for Windows.

...having one of these in your HTPC would make it seriously kick some ass.
...with the Sondigo Inferno 7.1 you truly hear things you didn’t know were there. At $149.99 this is one hellofa board.
