What happens to the DD or Dts soundtracks that are on most dvds? Will the callisto recognize and output those signals through its digital output?

Hi,
Yes, if a single audio source is playing, the Callisto will simply "pass through" a signal that is already encoded in DD or DTS- as long as the corresponding SPDIF output mode is selected in the Callisto Control Panel.
