Sirocco interrupting dsl internet connection

I am using my Sirocco with a hard wired ethernet connection to my 2-computer network. When in use, the Sirocco causes the internet connection to the 2nd computer to fail and it cannot be re-established without unplugging the Sirocco from the router.
I've read of a similar problem that was resolved by changing a static IP address but I don't know how to do this. My net connections have dynamically assigned IP's. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Terry, On second thought,

Hi Terry,
On second thought, using the Wizard might not be the most intuitive way to change the settings. Instead, when you open up the webpage, click on "TCP/IP Settings", and make sure that under DHCP, "Client" is selected (then hit "Apply Changes").

To disable the wireless interface, click on the "Wireless" folder on the left and then click on "Basic Settings". Check "Disable Wireless LAN Interface", and hit "Apply Changes"

These two changes should get the Sirocco working properly on your wired network. Let us know if you still have any problems.

Aaron. On page 2 of the set

Aaron.
On page 2 of the set up wizard I have two choices under Network type:
"Infrastructure" and "Ad Hoc", no choice for DHCP.
At the top it also says wireless settings - my connection is wired but there appears to be no page for that. What now?

Hi Terry, Sounds like there

Hi Terry,
Sounds like there could be a problem with the Sirocco's built-in DHCP server being activated. You can fix this by resetting the Sirocco (hold down the Reset button for 10 seconds while the device is plugged in).

Once the Sirocco is reset, plug it in DIRECTLY to your PC (whichever one you want to use for this troubleshooting). Open up your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc), and enter 192.168.1.254 into the address bar. This will take you to the Sirocco's web-based setup utility. Run the setup wizard (there should be a link on the left side of the page), and during that wizard, make sure you set the following properties:
-AP/Client mode: choose CLIENT mode
-Network type (DHCP, or static IP): choose DHCP

Let us know if that doesn't resolve it.

Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Aaron, The two PCs are

Hi Aaron,
The two PCs are connected through a Linksys cable/dsl router. The Sirocco is installed on both PCs using the setup wizard and both work fine. The problem is with the dsl connection - after the Sirocco has been connected via either computer the internet connection on one or both machines will fail. It sometimes happens immediately; at other times it doesn't fail until the Sirocco is disconnected. There doesn't appear to be any pattern as to which machine goes down. Even when both DSL connections have failed the Sirocco continues to work and can be disconnected and re-connected to either computer. Once the DSL connection has been broken it cannot be re-established without unplugging the Sirocco from the router. When things are working properly the IP's of the two computers are 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 with both having the same default of 192.168.1.1
After failure and before unplugging the Sirocco, IP CONFIG release / renew gives an IP of 192.168.1.102 with no default showing.
I have very little knowledge of networks so all this is greek to me.

Hi Terry, Could you describe

Hi Terry,
Could you describe how your network is set up? Are you using a router or switch to connect the two PCs and Sirocco? Also, did you go through the Sirocco setup wizard when you set up the device?
