I understand that there will be problems and delays with the introduction of any new operating system. I recently bought a new laptop for my family and Vista is installed. Sirocco is not the only product to have problems with the new Microsoft products. All I am asking for is that Sondigo provide some information about when this issue will be resolved.

Sorry, I was referring to my second reply, which was not there when you started this topic. The upshot is that yes, the drivers are coming, but we don't have a definite date for them.

Having just got a new laptop with Vista on it, I'm looking for a wireless audio solution and Sirocco looks like it would fit the bill nicely. But, obviously, if I can't rely on getting at least a beta Vista driver within, say, a month, I'll (reluctantly) have to look elsewhere.

The indefinite date is weeks, not months or days. There has already been a lot of effort on C-Media's part to build towards a Vista release, they just have to finish, polish it up, and make it more useable. Once they do this and we get a suitable base driver, there will be a new Sirocco driver in very little time.
Vista 64-bit
Fingers crossed here that the 64-bit Vista drivers are near for the Callisto...
Really would like to take full advantage of the 5.1 channels for high def TV.
