6 speaker analog output

I have an IBM A20m Thinkpad with a Belkin 11 Mbps (801b) network card. I am able to get 6 speaker analog output while connected by an ethernet cable to the Sirocco; however, while connected to the Sirocco wirelessly, only 2 speaker and headphone output is available.

Does anyone know why I cannot get a 6 speaker analog output when connected wirelessly and how to correct the problem?

I have a desktop that connects wirelessly (801g)to the Sirocco with 6 speaker analog output.

Hi gilburnz,
Have you tried resetting the Sirocco and going through the setup a second time? It sounds like the Sirocco might not be authenticating itself with the driver correctly.

Buffer Setting

I tried buffer settings from 100 to 3000 ms with no effect. Only 2 speaker and headphone output is available while connected wirelessly.

What is your buffer setting?

What is your buffer setting? Make sure it's 1000ms or lower (this setting is on the "Audio Link" tab).

6 speaker sound

I am sure that I am connected; output from the Sirocco goes through the "front" jack in which case I only get music through the front speakers on my audio systems. I want the Sirocco to output through the "surround" jack in which case my music will go through all of the speakers on my audio system.

When I use my desktop, I can get surround sound this way.

Hi,
In my experience, the only time the 4/6 channel output options are greyed out is when the Sirocco is not connected. Can you ensure that you are connected to the Sirocco (try with a buffer of 1000ms or less), before you try to enable 6 channel mode?

Hope this helps,
Aaron
