i'd like to be able to broadcast music from one pc to multiple sondigo audio bridges in the house. (playing the same music).
can i or will i be able to do this in the future with a firmware update?

It's still not possible, but it is something that we'd like to do. There are a few technical problems with adding this feature. This feature won't be coming in the near future, but hopefully we can add it at a later time.
