Buffer not full all the time

On my laptop's XP or on my desktop PC (Vista) - I have choppy sound,
and buffer is always below the line on the graph :(
When I connect to Sirocco, buffer is 100%, but after some minutes of playing,
it is going down to for example 15 % , sometimes it is near 0 %...

My WiFi network is 54Mbit B/G , not too busy, practically WiFi is used
only for my audio.

On the older software buffer worked OK, with new XP/Vista firmware/software
my Sirocco become unusable :// Sound clicks and choppy every 2-3 minutes :/

I don't know if it is important, but I have Core2Duo processors on my
both computers, on notebook it is Core2Duo 1,6 GHz, on desktop Core Duo 3 GHz
Vista on PC is 64-bit. I noticed drivers installed as 32-bit application :(((

Why in 2007 and era of 64-bit processing we still have to use 32-bit old
interface?? And, 16-bit too!!! Some of Sirocco interface is done with 16-bit
programming like in Windows 3.11 :OOOO

Waiting for new pure 64-bit drivers, I have to connect my PC's to my
stereo set with good copper cable and enjoy my music that way...

Hi twinsen, If you're having

Hi twinsen,
If you're having problems with drop outs, it's definitely not because the Sirocco driver is 32-bit. Much more likely is that this is a networking problem with the newer protocol in the Sirocco. What router are you using, and do you have any firewall software running on the PCs?

Also, I'm pretty sure there's no 16-bit code in the driver, do you have any specific examples where you think this is the case?
