Hi, Ive had my Inferno for a few weeks, and whenever I open the Oxygen controller, the sound starts skipping, and makes random popping sounds. After I'm done changing settings, it keeps randomly skipping. Eventually it stops, but its annoying whenever I want to change a setting. This only happens when outputting Dolby Digital Live through s/pdif out. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I haven't heard of this
Hi,
I haven't heard of this problem before. Which OS are you using? Have you tried re-installing the driver?
I am using XP SP2
I am using XP SP2 Professional, and I have tried installing the driver. I am wondering if it is a problem with my receiver.
It doesn't sound like it's
It doesn't sound like it's your receiver, but that is a possibility. Are there any specific settings that case the problems, or does this happen for every settings change in the Control Panel?
I am having this problem too
I am having this problem too and only with DDL. It sounds like very faint beeps. I purchased this card just for DDL, so I would really like to fix this problem. Any suggestions?
I haven't ever heard mine stop doing this though. I can't tell the beeps are there when there is an outside sound, but during silence they are extremely frustrating.
I think these sound like
I think these sound like different issues- beeps and skips usually suggest different root problems.
First thing to try is installing the driver at www.sondigo.com/drivers. This is more recent than the one that came on the CD.
Also, try a different input on the receiver. It's possible that the beeps could be coming from the receiver as well.
