Does the vista callisto driver automatically use Neo:PC to put stereo sound on all channels even if the system is setup for 5.1 channel input (for games)?
For example can I go from playing a game and getting 5.1 audio to playing a 2 channel audio file without changing any driver settings and still get the audio file upconverted to 5.1 by neo:pc?
I ask because my current soundcard also has DTS connet and Neo:PC but it will only apply the neo:pc upconversion if I switch to 2 channel input mode, which is driving me crazy.
Also the simplicity of a usb soundcard that outputs DTS makes me want one in general, since thats all I'm using my current soundcard for anyway :)

Hi veridiac, Neo:PC is only
Hi veridiac,
Neo:PC is only available when the audio input is set to 2 channels. It is frusterating that Microsoft chose to include this limitation (specifying the input format) in Vista.
