I just purchased the Calisto USB and installed latest Vista driver today from your site. Problem is, it is not giving off proper 5.1. When I do a test on 5.1 surround option, it does the rear speakers in the front instead, which is obviously not normal. In 5.1 mode, it does not give the option of rear speakes, only side and front which makes no sense at all.
If I select 7.1 and disable side speakers, enable rear, it still gives off sound for rear, on the two front speakers. I have a Logitech 5.1 5450 model speakers. I selected Optical input which strangely it reports "no digital data", yet I hear all the 5.1 sounds, except the rears are coming out the front.
My Creative USB Soundblaster Live 24bit works fine in 5.1. Why not the Calisto?
Calisto USB shows orange light as well. I do not see any other lights, if any are there.

you have to change the properties in windows playback devices to get true 5.1 from the callisto. I had to right click the speaker icon in the taskbar, click on playback devices, and set "speakers" as the default device. Selecting the "digital output C-media CM103 Like Sound Device" results in only stereo output. Hope this helps.
