Hello,
This sound card is great, the sound is so crisp that it beats creative competition by far! Don't get me wrong, so far, I love this sound card, but I have some recommendations for future use! Obviously one of the reasons why people buy an external soundcard is for gaming or for professional work. Normal people will not even find a difference between onboard/card.
1) Inclusion of Front Case Bracket: It is usefull to keep both the Gaming Headset as well as the Surround Speakers connected at the same time instead of taking out the plug and placing it back o the back of the computer.
2) Software, Simple One Click solution: A simple one is needed to switch from headphones (front-panel if 1 is implemented) to back 7.1.
3) Software, Automatically recognize if a user inserted a plug to a port, so the application would recognize between headphones, 2.1, 3.1,5.1,7.1... Similar to Asus SoundMax
4) Software, Setup Wizard that will help the user setup his speakers in a nice wizard way. As well setting up the Mic Volume (cause the mic volume depends on the persons voice). MSN Messenger has a neat Microphone / Speakers Setup Utility, but it would be nicer to include similar and better functionality within inferno. You guys have alot of options, but a setup wizard would be best to decouple all of them.
5)Sondigo Inferno case sticker :p NVIDIA/Intel/ASUS all have those 2cm/2cm stickers you stick on the computer so we can show off that we have Inferno Sound Card :)
Cheers,
Mohamed
