I'm using Vista Ultimate x64 with the Inferno driver posted in the other topic, and I'd like to have 2-channel MP3 output to be cloned to the rear speakers to create a surround effect. Apparently I have to turn on Speaker Fill on the Enhancements tab in Vista's Speakers Properties. But this tab does not exist. Some suggested that the sound card driver determines whether the Enhancements tab shows up.
Can we expect a driver update to fix this?
I had no problem getting 2-channel MP3 to play in surround in XP x64. Only after I switched to Vista I've lost this ability.

Hi, There are higher quality
Hi,
There are higher quality upmix ("speaker fill") algorithms included in the Inferno's driver. Try enabling Dolby Pro Logic IIx or DTS Neo:PC, which will do the same thing. Note that they don't simply copy the front channels to the back, but instead steer non-dominant sounds to the back to create a more spacious effect.
