creative inspire 5.1 Digital 5500 speakers

I recently purchased the sondigo inferno 7.1 sound card and I am a bit confused about hooking up the speakers. I have Creative inspire 5.1 Digital 5500 speakers which come with a decoder. Any ideas on how I hook up the sound card to the decoder? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
It should be as easy as using the Toslink (optical digital) cable that came with the Inferno to connect the Inferno's SPDIF out jack to the decoder's SPDIF In jack. Then select Dolby Digital Live or DTS Interactive from the Control Panel.
