I've been watching the inferno for a few months now and decided this is the sound card I want, but I can't seem to find any retailers (online or otherwise) that are selling it. ncix hasn't had it for a few months, and newegg is US only AND they don't appear to have any in stock, so I can't really make any purchases. The online store here doesn't even have an option to buy.
What I'm looking for is to pass through sound from my computer (htpc, mostly used for 5.1 movies and music) to my receiver via optical spdif. I'm wondering if the callisto will be fine enough for me.

If you're just looking for 5.1 over SPDIF, that's exactly what the Callisto was designed for. Unless you also need analog outs, the Inferno might be overkill for your needs.
