What improvements have been made to the XP beta driver

Hi Martin,
The driver is mostly for Vista users, as it fixes a bug that occurred when choosing PCM as the digital output format.

I'm not aware of any widespread outstanding issues in XP *. If you are having problems with the original driver, though, this one might be worth a try.

* There is the Dolby Digital/DTS "keepalive" issue, but that is unfixable because of USB bus power requirements. If you're having this problem, see the existing forum threads on the topic for an explanation.

What exactly are those issues? (The PCM Vista issue and the XP "keepalive" issue.) Is there a changelog with the driver or something?

Also, I know probably given the time the Callisto has been out, that there's no hopes for a Dolby Headphone update in the driver, but do you know if there are any plans to come up with an updated version of the Callisto or something similar (in a dongle form factor) with DH or maybe the newer DTS "Surround Sensation"?

I have had to buy the Asus Xonar U1 just for this, and it's not really ideal as a Callisto with DH would be. I'm sure others have asked for this feature to be implemented before, it would be a killer.

No plans for the Dolby Headphone addition to Callisto at this time. It's meant primarily as a Dolby Digital/DTS digital output product.

What a bummer. I didn't have much hope for the Callisto itself, but an updated Callisto with more features would be more than welcome. Maybe you guys should consider adopting both Dolby Headphone and the new DTS Surround Sensation. It would be great, and it'll probably sell better than the Callisto. I would buy it again.

We will consider that feedback for future versions of the product, although there is nothing coming in the short term.
