When using the sondigo inferno XP drivers, there is an option in the mixer tab, called Wav (If i remember correctly) where if I chose it, it would record high quality sound directly from the sound card instead of my microphone. I'm on Vista 64 bit and this option isn't there anymore, I see Aux instead and it doesn't work. Is there any alternative that could give me this function back? I used it daily to send voice clips of music on MSN to people.

The settings in the Mixer tab are actually those that are presented by the underlying operating system (XP or Vista).
In the case of the wav setting that you mention was provided in Windows XP, I believe this is no longer offered in Vista.
