Proplems upgrading firmware

Hi,

I just downloaded the new 2.1 driver for XP and when I follow the installation document I can't seem to locate the Sirocco. There is a conflict with my broadband modem that has the same IP-adress: 192.168.1.254. I get the login for the modem instead of the Sirocco. What should I do?

Hi Magnus,
In your case, for the firmware update procedure, try disabling all networking connections from your PC, except for the Ethernet link to the Sirocco. That is, if your PC also has a wireless card that is communicating with the modem, disable the wireless card through the Windows Control Panel before proceeding with the firmware upgrade.

As an extra precaution, it's also a good idea to disable any firewalls or security suites before performing the upgrade, since these programs can interrupt the firmware upgrade.
