I've had my Callisto for a while now, but struggled a little to get it working in Vista Home Premium. I have it hooked to a Creative Labs T7900 7.1 speaker system via a Creative Labs DDTS-100 Dolby/DTS decoder.
I can verify the decoder and speakers are set up correctly using my PS2 and DVD player as sources. I.e. all the speakers are connected to the right places...
But the output from the Callisto seems quite wrong indeed. The side/rear speakers are the wrong way round... left rear output goes to the right rear speaker and vice versa.
Obviously that completely ruins any 3D spacial experience.
Sure, I could hack round it by connecting my speakers to my decoder round the other way every time I want to use the Callisto rather than the DVD player... but surely this is something which could be [easily?] addressed in the driver? I've seen other people with the same issue on these forums, but no resolution yet that I can see.
Surround sound was specifically what I bought the Callisto for, so I'm quite disappointed now.
I'm using the latest beta drivers on Vista. Any suggestions?
