I bought a Sirocco a few weeks ago and finaly made it work well after updating the firmware. however a few days ago a friend of mine who i lend the Sirocco asked me why theres only a signal from the left side.
I remembered that i set my audio-system to monomode, because of a defect cable...
Well whatever, I testet some different programs, drivers and also different cable. Nothing worked so far -_-
The Surround-, and the Optical-connector are fine, but i can't tell whats going on with the Sub-channel.
I'm still searching for a solution and will be thankful for any ideas.

but i just tried it for the left-surround and right-sourround channels i'm currently using and the right one wasn't working.
only after changing to stereo and back to surround i got the right one back.(i'm not sure about it, it may also have been a problem with my sound-system... damn i tried too many things-_-) Well, stereo-front still is still inoperable, i just tried it once more ;)

Up until today i believed it was a problem with the device itself; either the firmware or the hardware i'm not sure myself.
I used the surround connector for a while now and sometimes it dropped the rightsurround channel. i don't know why or when it happens and up until today the channel was back
after i reset the device. But today the channel was stayed gone and as i tried to check the channels with the speaker-test they were all on the left-surround box although the
virtual speaker-shift was deactivated. Furthermore it was the same at the front connector: Every other Channel was on the Left Speaker and the right speaker was dead.
After I rebooted my system the virtual Speaker-shift was gone. However the output of the right-surround channel was very low. I thought maybe so balance setting and searched
every mixer and tried different programms. After there was nothing wrong i tried the balance and mono-mode of my Sound-System and there was also nothig wrong.I rebooted the
Sirocco twice but nothing changed so far.
Well so far my update.
PS: Im using the latest beta driver(2.6)

That is very strange. Have you checked the Windows sound settings to make sure there isn't a global balance control being set to one side? Also, try testing the front connector with headphones to see if the problem is happening before the audio gets to the sound system.

As i tried to check it today everythig was back to normal.
except the right front channel is still missing :(
Well I've got time to wait and if its back i'm ready to catch it ;)
