sampling rates.. does sirocco support 44.1khz?

is the device locked at 16bit/48khz?

i noticed the product specs said "up to 16bit 96khz".

what i'm interested in is 16bit 44.1khz, so that all my mp3 music will sound its best, and not be upsampled to 48khz. i'm using another brand that's locked at 48khz, and there's an audible loss of quality in the upsampling.

Hi George,
The audio driver does not support 44.1, unfortunately. All of the DSP processing happens at 48k, so there is a conversion for 44.1 audio before entering the driver (even if the DSP is disabled). The sample rate conversion is done in software at a very high level of quality, however.
