Noisy transformer

Hello!

A question about the transformer. In the times when I am not listening to music, I can distinctly hear a buzz from the Sirocco Audio Bridge transformer. Has anyone experienced this? If so, can I get a third party quality transformer that would be silent.

Hi,
There is normally a faint buzz coming from the Sirocco, but for most people it is only audible from 2-3 feet away when the room is silent.

And yes, UAC is still causing us a lot of unnecessary grief. Everything seems to work better when it's disabled, although for less savvy users it does give some increased security.

My acutal sirocco box seems to buzz fairly loudly when powered up? Is this the same issue as with the power adapter or is this normal?

Also disabling UAC seems to have improved the performance with Vista a fair bit!

You mean the transformer in the power adapter? If so, you can use any third-party transformer that meets the following specs for output:
9V DC center-positive, at least 700mA
