I am using Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit with the version 2.6 Sirocco drivers. My router is a Linksys WRT54GS version 1.0 updated to the latest firmware. I have also updated the firmware for Sirocco.
The problem I have is that the hammer symbol under the Status field of the Sirocco Audio Center tells me to please make sure that the IP address of my computer is at 192.168.1.x. For that to happen I have to set the IP address of my router to 192.168.1.y, where y > 1, because 192.168.1.1 is the IP address of my modem. When I set my router to 192.168.1.2, my internet connection stops working. I usually use my router at 192.168.2.1, in which case my computer is assigned 192.168.2.100.
Is it possible to get the Sirocco to work with a computer at 192.168.2.x?
P.S. My router has a web interface but my modem does not.

I tried the version 2.1
After switching to the version 2.1 drivers the hammer goes away once the audio connection is made.
I take that back - it is still there when I reboot the computer and the Audio Center comes up automatically. I suspect IP address assignment is the origin of all the problems with this device.
