Just recieved this for Christmas and am trying to install the driver and keep getting this error when running setup. I have Vista and have upgraded the firmware but am still getting the same error. Any ideas?

Make sure Sirocco is wired to the PC
I had this same error come up early in my setup process. I think what was causing this problem was the fact that I had the ethernet cable from the Sirocco going into an open port on my wireless router. That is not correct. The ethernet cable needs to be wired from the Sirocco to the PC directly during the setup process.

You probably want to take a look @ http://www.sondigo.com/sirocco/updateguide. The CD that comes with the device apparently only supports Windows XP. That's what happened to me. Make sure to read the readme.rtf file that comes with the updated package at that link above.
