Belkin N1 Vision router and Sirocco not working

I recently bought a Sirocco. I run Vista 64 bit operating system on a Gateway computer. I have a Belkin N1 Vision wireless router. I was able to install the firmware and software update without difficulty. The system worked via the ethernet, but when I unplugged the ethernet cable then nothing works. The Sirocco does not appear to see the network. What can I do to get the system to work? thanks Christian
