Is my Sirocco a Brick?

I am trying to install my Sirocco.

I have followed the install instructions to a T on two different PCs. The latest was a new machine with a fresh copy of XP SP2. Your software was the first non-"Windoze" product I attempted to install on it.

However

- when the software gets to the point where it is asking for Device Config.." or "Upgrade Firmware" and I select "Device config.." (Step 2b) I get an error message - "No available devices were found".

I have reset the Sirocco several times.

I have tried to access the unit using IE and the default IP addy

I have used a network sniffer - which failed to find evidence of 192.168.1.254 connected to my LAN device.

Yes - Using the original drivers from Install CD

Guilty of using the OOTB CD to attempt an install.

It sounds like there may be problems with the device. Are you using the original firmware and driver?
