I'm having some difficulty with my ethernet connection from my cable modem to ISP dropping out these past few days (I think it is that; there is a slight possibility my wireless router is having some issues). When this happens, Sondigo dynamically switches the audio back to my laptop (interestingly, it detects when the ISP is back and switches back to providing sound to my receiver, a nice feature). I'd like to avoid these interuptions if possible (particularly when hosting a party or dinner, for example). Since the wireless router is still working fine, and the communication is from the router to the laptop and Sondigo, it seems there ought to be a way to do this. Is there?

Yes, there have been some
Yes, there have been some problems with some of the Pre-N routers dropping off. Take a look at Len's blog, which links to some interesting studies done by eWeek. It may be an interaction between your router and your wireless chipset on your PC.
Oops
I should have tried this before posting: I tried disconnecting my cable modem from my wireless router, and this had no effect. Clearly, my new Belkin Pre-N wireless router is dropping out for some strange reason.
