When I boot my machine the control panel is automaticly opening on my desk top..is this how it it is for all users or is it just me??
Also I am using a flat panel wide screen display and when looking at the information tab, everything below the DSP information box is cut off. So I can not get at the link at the bottom of the screen to check for that updated driver we are waiting for:-)
I am assuming your driver does not support wide screen monitors??
Bob, are you using Large Fonts or 120dpi font settings in your display settings? The current control panel only works with "standard" windows font settings, and there are known issues with other settings.
Regards the control panel popping up, you can stop this happening by clicking on the 'advanced' button in the "Audio Link" tab and then uncheck the "Open this utility automatically when a new Sirocco device is available"
I've looked at this, and it looks like it always opens on boot, regardless of the checkbox's setting. The checkbox only affects what happens when a new device becomes available after startup.
We'll look at making this de-selectable for the next version.

We don't have a set date for our next driver release, but we do want to release one in the near future. We will announce it on the forums, and you will be able to access it from your "check for updates" link in the control panel.

I am using normal fonts at 120dpi. I will play around with the settings and see what happens.
As to the control panel opening..The box is, and has been, unchecked... but the control panel still opens on it's own.

You didn't forget this 'popping up on system start' problem did you?! It's been almost two years.... It's still a missed feature.
